Oh, I'm not saying there aren't things that show up on woot that I wouldn't love to buy... 'cause there are. (For instance, I'm undecided on roombas, but I'd love to give one a try sometime.) But, with my current job situation and having just spent more than I really meant to on demonlurking for the holidays, the likelihood that I'm actually going to buy anything is slim-to-none =)

There is always next year. The stuff that appears on woot does come up again and again.

The Roombas aren't all what they're cracked up to be. The batteries fail to hold a charge after so long (~18 months). I would not buy another one.

Tanga can also be interesting to watch. They are more game focused, but cycle a healthy amount of tech stuff through as well.

See, this is what a dedicated RSS reader (like Google Reader) is for. I just marked the entire folder as read, since I know that most of the deals there had expired already.

I use Firefox, so I have installed the Woot Watcher and Tanga Watcher add-ons. That way I can always check what the current deal is right there in my status line! ;>
