But in other news, the sky is blue, water is wet, Tom Cruise is a loon, Salma Hayek is attractive, and Wall Street is out of money.

On a kinda more serious note...nearly every single article I've seen about this has also taken the "well, duh!" approach. He must be sincere about this "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things" bit, because as an attention-getting ploy, it looks like it's a bust...

That's the truth. I am glad that he did come out before it became an issue for his kid to deal with. I've always suspected that he stayed in the closet at the behest of his handlers, anyway.

I really am glad that he's doing this for his son. Teaching your child to be deceptive is wrong period. I'm glad that he's coming clean in order to be a better dad.
