I did it because I assumed she was interested, because under normal circumstances, you don't just keep harassing your customer when they've made it obvious they're not the type to go for idle chatter at all. And I have plenty of respect for women. ...At least, when they deserve it. But I could say the same about men also. You show yourself to be worth respecting, then I'll give mine to you. Simple as that.

Do such things really make you wish to try harder? Most of the women I meet seem to fit the latter description. Interesting? Inconsistent and vague is more like it. I'd prefer to keep my distance from them.

Depends on the woman. Every so often you'll meet one that has that ability to inspire you like that. ...Though most of them? Yeah, they tend to fit the latter.

Well, there is one I'm fine being around with, but I don't exactly feel "inspired." Have you met one that "inspires" you?

Then she'd be among the latter, so just ignore her if she's irritating and you're not planning on doing anything with her.
...And yeah. I've known a few women who inspired me over the years. ...But they're people from my past that I'll most likely never get the chance to see again. One of which I know I won't, since she's dead and all.
