They specifically bought me because they believed I'd make for a good fighter, though. So I don't understand why they'd ever underestimate what I'd be capable of. Especially after all the threats I've made towards their lives.
But whatever. If I keep doing well, maybe they'll actually stop keeping me on an extremely short leash.

I find no fun in tormenting my opponents, especially children. So I wasn't about to draw out something I already knew I could easily do against him.

Don't know either. Though some of their other fighters have more leeway, so I suppose we'll see.

I'd prefer it if we do get the chance to use weapons. As it'd make things a lot easier, quicker and less messy than using my bare hands and teeth to kill my opponents.

...Don't thank me for things like that. I killed a young boy. And I'm doing my best to try and disassociate myself from that realization. As I'm sure I'll be forced to do it again, and I'd rather not feel anything when it happens.

Arena fights are pretty sick. I'm not allowed to watch them, but I've seen some anyway, just from curiosity when I was little. I wasn't impressed, I would be more interesting with humans fighting themselves.

There are some human fighters out there as well, it's just that for the most part, anima seem to be preferred and are more popular in general compared to our human counterparts. ...Plus most humans aren't stupid enough to willingly subject themselves to this bullshit. Yet despite never wishing to do it themselves, so many of them seem to love watching us all kill one another for their amusement.

You just called youself stupid, but I don't know if you noticed. Probably not, people don't usually call themselves stupid, usually, some do, I've seen it. You shouldn't fight. I read somewhere that fighting is for entertainment and not death, that killing is illegal. Not that that ever stopped humans from doing anything. They tend to be like that.

No, because I said humans aren't stupid enough to do it willingly. I never said anything about doing what I do willingly myself. In fact, unless I wish to once again be beaten systematically by my masters until I can no longer move, telling them I won't do it isn't an available option. So I fight and kill when they tell me to. And yeah, while I agree that all of this should be illegal, just like I believe the fact we're enslaved should be illegal, the king doesn't exactly seem in a hurry to give any of our kind proper rights, let alone listen to our pleas.
