The castes are the groups we all fall into, usually from the time we're born, except...in situations like ours. So nobles, merchants, priests, commoners, and slaves. I hailed from the priest caste and now I'm in the slave caste. Of course, things seem somewhat different around here in the capital compared to back in the islands, but whole families held the title of priest where I came from and it was our collective task to tend to all spiritual needs.

...I know it's hard for you to grasp that after this many years, but having an aggressive anima isn't the same thing as being possessed.

That would probably be because I'm not from the capital area. Not to mention people in a big metropolitan hub like this city seem to have far less interest in old traditions and "superstitious nonsense" as I've heard it referred to at times.

Define your ghosts of the past. There are different kinds.

...Yes, I originally hailed from the islands south of the peninsula. But I'm not exactly looking to spread my knowledge, really. I'm not a teacher nor a spiritual leader after all. I just suppose the traditions of where I come from and how I was raised show some so it gets mocked. I fail to see a damn thing that makes being Stella-born any better than being a Southern Islander though, different traditions or not.
