I read someone else mentioning snow possibly coming here in the coming season. ...Not quite sure how I feel about that. Being from the islands to the south of the peninsula, I've never even seen snow before. We're subtropic there. So it was abnormal when we would even get a day that was considered cold by what seems like typical capital ( Read more... )

It's pretty at first, but it doesn't last so well. It's horrible when it starts to melt and just turns into freezing brown slush all over the road. And people like to throw it too. Horrible.

So...you are whining like a sissy over those slushy balls of precipitation, then, I take it?

I was just trying to inform you what it was like.

I've dealt with a number of far more unpleasant things thrown at me than the concept of dirty melting ice, so it won't bother me any. But go ahead and carry on with whining some more if you feel like it. It seems to be something you're pretty good at from what I've seen and far be it for me to stop you when you're on a role~ ...Or wait. Did I stop you too early for that to happen?

[OOC: Sorry, Mizuki. He's feeling the need to tease him about it. ^^;]

I'm from a warmer climate myself. The first time I saw snow freaked me out pretty good, because it all fell overnight. Went to bed with a normal looking winter scene, woke up to WHITE everywhere.

The other guy's right. It's actually very pretty to look at, while it lasts. But you do have to be careful as it melts and turns to ice in places.

...Someone else from south of here. How rare. I believe you're the first one I've crossed paths with since leaving the peninsula. Wonder why that is. ...Not that I can blame any of them at all for not wanting to venture over this way. The capital is...odd, to put it nicely. And I'm sure all the rumors lately aren't helping with the tourism.Waking up to white everywhere isn't likely to freak me out if it does happen, though. Maybe I'd be somewhat more aggravated than normal over it being entirely too fucking cold, plus I'd stick out even more like a sore thumb in it thanks to being extremely tall and most of my wardrobe being in black. But besides that, perhaps it's some of the curious nature in me, but I'd just be more inclined to enjoy some of the serenity I've heard about it and amuse myself with the antics of those far more innocent than I who choose to play in it ( ... )

Doesn't seem many people are willing to move north. Can't really say I blame them, but at least we have beaches here. And it's not so far north that it's cold even in the summer. That, I think, would have made me nuts. I'd recommend dressing in layers, at least until you've grown more accustomed to the cold. And I always find it fun to watch kids playing in the snow...but this year I might end up out in it myself. My daughter might want to play out there ^^

As for standing out, may I suggest wearing grey instead of black in the winter. The contrast will be less sharp than black against white, especially if you go to lighter greys instead of dark ones - though if you like black so much, I imagine you wouldn't actually wear the lighter ones. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about your height ;)

Well, we haven't had a bad blizzard in the years I've been here. We've gotten a foot of snow, give or take, all at once, but nothing that makes travel completely impossible. Just difficult.

Hmnn...beaches. I've had little opportunity to actually see the ones they have here beyond simply in passing onto places I shouldn't have gone to and others I had little choice in say on the matter. Even if it is almost winter, maybe I'll take Akaya with me to go see them sometime soon now that we aren't caged. I imagine he hasn't ever gotten the chance either through the years despite being here most his life, and I'd hardly count those boating docks his new master works with him at times as an actual experience with the water. ...But I digress. I do plan to dress appropriately for the season, or borrow more clothes from the only other man I've met as tall as me around here if it's necessary to do so. I'm sure one way or another, though, if I step outside at all and there are any of the neighborhood children around, I will become an immediate target for their supposed flurry of snowballs. I'm sure you'll have a much easier time with your daughter ( ... )

Hiroshi...what's snow? I've never seen it either. My old owners kept me locked up and even if I wasn't I'd be so sleepy, I'd not be able to enjoy it anyway. Instead of playing in the snow, can I just sleep with you?

.....Please tell me you're not serious when you ask that. Seeing it is one thing...but you've got to be fucking kidding me if you've never even heard of the damn stuff...

I was joking. I'm heard of it. But I've never seen it. So...can I sleep with you?

Sometimes I can never tell with you... But fine, you can come over here and sleep with me. Not like you don't already do so frequently anyhow whenever you feel in the mood for it. But I still want to check out the snow too, so if you're wanting to stay here with me, you're going to join me in doing that. Though since I doubt I'll want to stay out for too long in that kind of coldness, we'll head back inside after that and have some fun in bed instead~

[OOC: I am purposely making him say things in that suggestive way just because Akaya saying it that way sounded naughty~ XD Though in honesty, Chinen's mind isn't even registering it in that way at all. It's all completely innocent with Akaya~ ^^]
