*GRABS THINGS*

Róisín Murphy! I love her music, I wish I could remember where I first came across her. I think it says something that just seeing her name I had to get Overpowered playing right that moment.

By the way, I don't think I ever got around to mentioning to you how much I love Reverie Sound Revue's self-titled EP after you uploaded it for me. I really love it! I have probably annoyed the person in the room next to me IMMENSELY by playing it on loop five times over.

I've just put Shapeshifting on now and I think it's already working its way into the play this again part of my brain. How are you so good at finding good music?

Aaah, I'm glad you like it! I'll let you know if I ever hear anything about new material from them -- unfortunately they're all doing other things right now; their vocalist is touring with Broken Social Scene, I think. Still, we can hope.

Well, I download a couple of gigs of music whenever I'm feeling stressed out. It's like my form of comfort eating. (Though I do that, too.) I don't know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing. :D

LOL YOU. I know, I'm surprised that I didn't immediately click click click though I know I wanted to tell you that I already have Dessa and that it came highly recommended and I should buckle down and finally listen. also lol shapeshifting. Unintentional puns are the best.

Mostly I am D: that you don't like Joshua Jackson anymore, but yes, I just love that Olivia is our emotion ... scape? Emotionscape? Though she does easily rationalise, her comment to Broyles at the beginning shutting him down about her emotions "getting in the way of her work" is just my favourite. Because she does feel and she's not a robot and she's just the beating heart of this show. The weaponised plotline will basically be shit because Peter will once again not have a personality. Also on your second c, this post is so ridiculous but SO TRUE and it's just ridiculous how soap opera-y it's getting. Ugh Peter as a father would be such a headache. and I need Lincoln/Altlivia, lol. Also YES Nina Sharpe and her bamf, and alt!verse! Yay ( ... )

Yes yes yes! I LOVE that scene with Broyles, and it's this aspect of her that made me fall in love, sorry I wasn't more clear about it. It's like ... her main motivation is emotion; that's what keeps her going, makes things meaningful for her, and she recognises that and embraces it. But she also realises that in order to achieve what she wants, if things get tough, she has to just get herself together and be rational enough to do what she needs to do -- which is why I like her so much more than 99% of the protagonists of fantasy/scifi stories; she doesn't have pages and hours of endless "Why am I the CHOSEN ONE" angst, she just ... kicks ass. ... If that makes any sense. Anyway, it's pretty obvious that I want to be her. :D

Mostly I am D: that you don't like Joshua Jackson anymoreAAAH I'M SORRY JOSH. I think I am projecting my real-life issues with relationships and trust onto you, because apparently, Fringe is what I use to make sense of the ( ... )

Oh no, I think I got that? The first couple episodes are so intense but that's when I remember going, okay show, you and me are going to get along realllly well. The Olivia Dunham System is stunning, yes. ♥ She knows what's in front of her and she takes it on without hesitation. It was so believable that she wasn't afraid of anything anymore in "Jacksonville" - legitimately one of the female heroines who actually is fearless, and for good reason. The show's characterisation of her is awesome (...I wonder why they can't do the same with Peter*) and I will forever applaud the writers ( ... )

Yup, I am not a big fan of the whole Monster of the Week/casefile of the week thing; I mostly get through it for the sake of all of the other awesome stuff that happens on Fringe. Sigh. Imagine what they could do with the plotting if they didn't have to spend 75% of the episode time doing the monster of the week ( ... )

I need to talk about White Collar (mainly how awesome Diana is and how crap the last few episodes have been and why, show, why), so you should talk about it too!

Aaah I wish I could! But I am only at episode 1.08, because I didn't start watching White Collar until last month and so have been trying to catch up. I'm sad to hear that the last few episodes have been crap, though!

However, I have already decided that Diana is AMAZING and I have a crush on her. :D

I haven't watched it since Forging Bonds, which I thought was offensive on the stupidity and artistic plains. I'm sorry it's gotten worse. :/
