Geez, all this complex human stuff really does suck, doesn't it? *sigh* I found out this morning that the girl I made sad has been throwing up, cutting, and snorting vicodin in the wake of this mess I've made. FUN! :P

Damned if we do, damned if we don't, right? 'Cause if any of it were simple it's be the end of the world.

You didnt do this. Thats a very unfair way of looking at it.

The guy in question is a bit of a mess too. If I did this and it went badly for him I'd have every common friend we ever had blaming me for it, and thats one of the big pitfalls. Good luck hon.

Also, if it was simple we'd both get bored and make it fun.. and probably dangerous. You know thats true joe ;-)

Psycho girls are always psycho girls.

We just pretend to be normal till you like us.

Its why ben is now all mine. he likes the crazies >.> <.

I'd tell her that you are scared and need to take it slow. And that if she is serious you guys need to regain a solid friendship first.

Then

-- if she gets offended

Then she doesn't really care about your feelings and you should not care about hers.

-- if she accepts but then runs off after someone else

Then she doesn't really want to settle down.

-- if she pushes you for more

Then she is impatient and wants only you but is scared of friendship.

-- if she stays and is patient and works on the friendship

Then she is probably serious.

You should enter this prospect knowing that any of the above options is possible. If you can work hypothetically from each of the 4 standpoints then go for it. If knowing these possibilities you can still be seriously hurt then I'd say run away... fast.

Thanks Whitney. At the moment no, I dont think seriously hurt is an option.. however I have been there, and thats probably why I'm guarding my steps now. Sigh, chemistry.. We have it in truckloads, and for some reason that opens me up to a whole world of pain when it goes wrong.

Taking it slow.. The way to do this I believe.
