I sent a PM to someone but I didn't see the message in my "sent" box yesterday.

And I sent it again this afternoon but it still didn't work.

Anyone knows why?

I have no idea but it's doing it to me, too!! I tried to PM somebody a few hours ago and it said it sent just fine but it wasn't in my sentbox. I tried again and neither of them are showing up as sent. WTF :( :( :(

LJ has been extremely unstable since Saturday, so I guess there's quite a backlog. :(

Oh, I'm glad your package arrived safely (lol, you were one of the few who actually choose to wait for her magazine until the holidays in my poll). ♥

Well, LJ had this snowflake cookie v-gift for free for the holidays and lots of people sent their friends v-gifts and apparently many users didn't turn off their setting to be notified by email whenever one of their friends receives an v-gift... so this was leading to a massive overload of messages and consequently backlogging all other email notifications. Fail!
