Sorry. I couldn't resist. :) Wanderlost, please feel free to kick me to the curb for mocking people on your flist who I don't even know.
I LOVE BATHS TOO. I WOULD NEVER HAVE MADE YOU FEEL ALONE IN YOUR BATH WHEN YOU WERE A KID. I mean. Wait...
Okay, how about this: BATHS AND SHOWERS SHOULD BE FRIENDS.
Oh, OH! But OMG I am against AGAINST baths at the SAME TIME as a shower. Just, NO.
And basically, this poll was the funniest thing I read since being forced to read and vote on HP drunkfest fic. So THANK YOU. You had me at the gif, W.
WHo is forcing children to have baths??? It's not right. It's just NOT.
My daughter asked me once, after a bubble bath, "Mommy, how do we get clean?" and I was all, "Just wipe down and pretend, hon." ANd that's really, really bad advice, probably.
I wish your poll had ticky boxes because I am fussy fussy fussy about tea.
Green and Oolong teas should be ten million miles away from milk and sugar at all time! No no no!
White tea is badass when mixed with natural fruit juice or lemonade. Oh my gad, happy dance times are to be had.
Black tea is either half milk and water or just steamed milk with the tea steeped in it. No middle man.
I take showers at every opportunity but since this means I will easily take a forty five minute shower without thinking twice, I take baths during winter. That way I KNOW I won't run up the water bill in my desperate huddle for warmth. Showers, though, are a bijillion times better than baths. II know this sounds weird, but I love to take a cool shower to clean up, then sit in a bath while my conditioner and facial scrubs hang out on my face, and follow it up with another hot shower when the bath water gets cold.
The water bill dropped $120 when I left for college.
Milk in tea is a no-go, whereas I only take my (very rare) cups of drink coffee with milk. And sugar, but you didn't ask about that. That's because tea is yummy and coffee is not. I have taken coffee black before, but only because I was absolutely freezing and there was no tea to be had. Vilest thing ever:(
For many years my parents only had a bath, so I got quite used to it, but I see your point. I like baths still, but I prefer to rinse off and actually clean up in the shower. Baths are for laying back, closing your eyes and letting go of the troubles. But they don't make you any cleaner, true enough.
