I had one of those late-night conversations with Nikki last night because she was asking me what I meant when I consider myself a "weirdo," and am constantly looking for other weirdos to have in my life. Obviously there are different ways to be weird so this is what I explained to her

-When you work hard, good things will come to you.

-The way life goes is, you are born, you grow, you get older, go to school, then you get a job, then you may or may not have a family, and then you die.

I hate those assumptions, but I laughed that you brought them up. Somehow it seems more absurd when someone brings attention to it.

Yeah, I'm trying to develop a more humorous way of thinking about these things, because I love absurdity, and it's better to laugh at something than be angry at it.
