Looks like I got me a job interview in San Francisco in a couple weeks. It's a fucking miracle! I'll fly out there for a couple of days. The job is running/coordinating an fMRI study on depression at UCSF, so I believe I have it in the bag - he waited to interview a couple more people and check my references before asking me to spend the money to

I am both happy for you and sad that you may be leaving so soon. Regardless, though, I really hope you get the job--since employment worries are probably my biggest stressor right now, I know what securing that would mean in terms of financial comfort!

Sweet! If that doesn't work out, this person's lab is looking for people to hire for the summer, they do human eeg sleep studies and need people to collect and analyze the data.

Thanks - I'll keep that in mind. If I don't get this job I have to move to CA regardless - my lease is up in Aug. but I will keep this link.
