So I ended up going to that party I was going on about, it was alright to pretty good.

oh and the thing is, only the story is mildly good. with the exception of jacob - the characters are irritating, they are TERRIBLY written - it's clear from the very first chapter that stephenie meyer was never an english major. they're despicable and read like a fanfiction of the worst sort and if anyone dares to call them literature, i will punch them in the ovaries.

Well, I LIKE the Twilight books, but I'm certainly fanatical about it. The HP books are definitely better. I mean, first of all, they use magic! I don't care how many super awesome powers and abilities vampires have, they still can't use magic.

And not to get picky, but the rich Republicans comment irked me. I mean I know that generally IS how life turns out, but I think it's also like saying "Oh, it makes sense that she's smart because she wears glasses." Although I personally do not know which party I would place myself in, I find myself with liberal sympathies (and I'll just say this now: I come from a wealthy family, although my mother is staunchly Republican). But I also have a friend who is totally Republican but does NOT come from a rich family.

. . . Okay, I'm sorry. I just get annoyed when people use money as an excuse for something. I'm rather sensitive about that matter, even though it doesn't seem to make sense.
