I got back here just after ten, from taking Andi to Heathrow to catch her flight back to Australia. It was as hard as ever to say goodbye, even though this time hopefully it won't be for so long, and next time she comes should be to stay. Today is a day of departures, and back to work, for me, too (with added Mater caring). It's that time of year (I've been in academia most of my life)
