And I didn't mean to make it sad, but now that I've read it over I guess it is a little.
My intention was to make it seem like their friendship was so natural and just a given.

I just wrote that last one bc i wanted to share my headcanon with everyone with mark being totally captivated by people's dogs. and i am extremely satisfied with everyone agreeing with me.
Like he wouldn't just ask the owner for a quick pet. No. Mark's outer shell of being timid and shy is totally devastated and he'd kneel down on a knee to give a gentle pat on the head, a scratch behind the ears. He'd be all but staring into its round eyes but he'd glance up at the owner as well when he's asking them "What breed are they?", "How old is she?" and "Does she like Schmackos? I've got some in my backpack actually". From that angle Mark looks like a puppy himself and how can that person not resist answering every one of Mark's questions?
Both the dog and the owner are smitten with him. As with the rest of the world.

This isn't necessarily working bc I still have so many sexytime ideas in my head ;~~;
I've been thinking about the Markson one more and I think that they come as a package. Buy one Jackson get a free Mark. Because they complete each other in a way where their romantic partners wouldn't be able to. Jackson is the one who always takes initiative but is always going to look at Mark for some approval or guidance; and Mark is always going to be there for when Jackson is doubting himself or just needs that extra push. So even though Jackson may be the captain in their friendship, Mark is the pioneer.

That Markson is the only kind of Markson I like, and I applaud you for your spot-on characterization of Markson as bros who love each other but don't wanna suck face (but tried it once just to see).
The first one was great too-Jaeson is always a weird combination of hot and hilarious, and this was spot on!
