Why bother?

I keep planning things for our group to do and everyone keeps dropping out at the last minute. Everyone dropped out of RenFest the morning of the trip, almost literally, a couple did it earlier, but most dropped out after midnight

Take what you can get, that's my only advice :) Over the years we've seen less and less of our friends and I assume it will get worse once more marriages or career changes come along :P Eventually you get those days that fall into place, and it's usually worth the wait :)
