I guess I sort of dropped off the planet.
Sorry about that. It's been an interesting year. I believe I might have updated when I got my first job after nationwide at the plasma donation center as a trainer. That was certainly interesting. I met interesting people, did things I never thought I'd do (That is, shoving a big ass needle in somebody's arm), got separated from my husband and reconciled all within a nine-month period. One day, I got a call to come interview to be an administrative HR assistant. I interviewed and was offered the job the same day. It was scary because I knew I liked where I was and I wasn't sure if I would like where I was going. There were people there that I knew already, however. I ended up liking it but I was a bit bored. I wanted to do more and the hr folks were so busy doing (or too stubborn) that they didn't have the time to train me. One day in late November I got a call from Sitel. Evidently my info was still in careerbuilder. They were interested in me as a training manager. So effective 12/31 here I am. Sooo much to learn I couldn't be bored if I tried.
Dh had back surgery in may. Much better but some days he still had pain :-(
