Please don't say such a thing about them. They were foolish, yes, but "dumb" is a bit too harsh, don't you think? Their willingness to sacrifice themselves isn't something to treat lightly, I believe.

There's nothing wrong with being willing to die for a cause. It was, however stupid of them to think being wiped from existence would help their worlds. It would probably make only a few things better, but other things would most likely be worse.

It's true that it would be no good if they vanished and were remembered. But the world will go on, with or without them.

I do not think we should blame them for disappearing. It was not stupid. It was sad they would choose such a thing of their own free will. I feel bad for them.

I still think it was dumb of them to do it. But then I don't see the point of it. Why die for a cause when you could live and find another solution?
