Personality: In general, Dean comes off with laid back yet cocky attitude and a crude sense of humor. He's always good for making jokes, even while being arrested by the police or fighting a new, very dangerous breed of monster. There is a strong, macho vibe to him, as seen by his leather jacket, badass car, awesome taste in music, and a penchant for busty Asian beauties, though he does have a bit of a hidden side to him, such as his secret interest in Oprah and the Dr. Sexy soap opera. Despite having direct involvement with angels, the Devil, and all sorts of supernatural beings, he still rejects any idea of religion, and hates the idea of fate. He strongly believes in free will and the ability to choose your own destiny.
As much as he is a likeable guy, Dean does have his downsides. He is very stubborn and can get a bit short-tempered, even with those he cares about. This isn't because he's full of himself and think his word is law, but more likely because he's used to relying on himself. Dean often feels stressed and doesn't sleep very well, as is to be expected from one who has so much responsibility lying on his shoulders, and every now and again, he tends to deal with stress through booze and women, when he has the chance. More commonly, he likes to indulge in pie and greasy fast food, like burgers. Despite his tough guy attitude, he has the very simple fear of flying in airplanes, very likely due to his lack of control in the situation.
Dean is very much a chaotic good character. Deep down, past his gruff exterior, he is a genuinely caring guy. He will always go out of his way to make sure innocent people don't get hurt. If there is a way to save someone, Dean will try his hardest to do it. Though he does his best to protect people, Dean doesn't operate within the law and won't hesitate to break a few rules to do what he believes is right. In fact, he often breaks the law as a means to achieve an end. Most commonly, he uses his skills as a conman to impersonate FBI agents to get any information he may need to work a job. Dean also has several phony credit cards, which he uses to afford motel rooms and gas as he constantly travels cross-country with his brother.
Living a life on the road has hardened Dean and has taught him how to be self-reliant and to easily adapt from situation to situation. Though, because of this, he never felt the need to develop any close relationships, aside from with his family. Loyalty to his family has always been one of the most important things to Dean. He would always address his father respectfully as “sir” and would do anything to protect his younger brother, seen by the fact that he sold his soul without hesitation so that Sam could live. Though, Dean doesn't believe blood relation is all there is to family. According to him, family is something that needs to be earned. The three people he undoubtedly considers as his family are Bobby, Castiel, and his brother Sam, of course.

1st person sample: [The video feed turns on, showing a very disgruntled Dean. He's managed to find a place to sit down, but he's definitely not relaxed.]
Hey, any o' you uglies wanna tell me what's really going on here? The giant green booger at the front desk said something about an Apocalypse, but that was a year ago. I stopped it.
[Well, whatever the situation may be, he needs to contact someone he trusts if he's going to figure this out.]
Sammy, Bobby. If you're listening, get hold of me right away.
[He pauses for a moment, as if he's about to add something to that, but decides to just continue.]
We'll beat this thing, whatever it is.
3rd person sample: Even after all the bizarre things Dean has seen throughout his 32 years of life, the supernatural world still found ways to surprise him. Before now, he didn't believe aliens existed. Even now, he didn't trust that he was really on a spaceship. Last time he was abducted by “aliens,” it turned out to actually be fairies. Even Bobby, who had been hunting for years before Dean was born, had never seen any evidence that aliens existed.
But he wasn't exactly planning on standing around in awe and amazement at this fascinating new encounter, nor was he planning to just roll over and accept his situation. After several attempts of escape, line-cutting, and violence, Dean finally decided that he may as well just wait in this ridiculously long line, and just maybe he'd find some answers when he got to the front.
“Name?” the Vogon asked as he approached the front desk.
“Sigfried Houdini.” In his many experiences, Dean knew better than to give his real name to any authority figures, even ones that looked like a chunk of snot that just came out of someone's nose.
The Vogon took his form and typed the information into the computer. It took a moment for the alien to find the data, since Dean gave a false name, but the receptionist eventually opened the correct file. “Ah, it looks like you're already in our systems, Mr. Winchester of Earth. Welcome back.”
Dean blinked for a moment, making sure he heard that correctly. “I'm sorry, what?”
“Here's your Guide and your towel, but you already know how that works,” the Vogon rushed him along, ignoring the inquiry. “Next please!”
Before Dean could demand an explanation, the next angry customer in line shoved him aside, but that didn't stop him from shouting. “Hey! What the hell's going on here?!”
Unfortunately, the Vogon seemed to be giving the next customer her undivided attention, or maybe she was just choosing to ignore Dean. This place was only getting weirder and weirder. Dean really needed to way back to Earth, and fast.
Questions?: Is it cool if Dean's Impala chills out in the hangar? Pretty sure I read something about it in the FAQ, but just felt like I ought to mention it in the app!
