Awww, thank you for the sweetness. My dear Friend Lisa has been bombarded with almost-daily IMs as I've worried & sputtered about my SO's self-neglect, so I think it's uncommonly generous that she wrote "Sleepless" for me rather than change her userIDs & e-mail address. The part that's really funny is that my SO did indeed develop pneumonia while the temperatures were quite high even for Florida; & the noises echoing in our house sounded like they very well might've come from otherworldly or mythological creatures, possibly being choked & drowned. ("Forlorn water buffalo," hee! That still gives me the giggles.) Gory details are at ohikennedy, my vanilla LJ, if you really like medical/emotional TMI.

It's a shame Lisa doesn't have the self-confidence to write longer fics. She's an excellent, intelligent writer & has a wonderfully dry sense of humor that just seems to set Rodney off like decaff coffee. :-) I'm hoping her involvement with BigBang as sgamadison's beta will ease her closer to the idea....
