So I've been told. It's similarity to a festival in my world is rather remarkable.

What sort of activities took place for Hallow's End?

Feasts, general celebrations of the harvests. It's an autumn festival - and since it dovetails with the Day of the Dead at the beginning of November, I suppose some try to lend it a more "spooky" feeling.

An autumn festival and celebration at the end of the harvest season.

The harvest season?

[Being in Somarium for several months now, Serph has the basic grasp on what a "celebration" and "festival" is. However, the idea of changing seasons and even the concept of a "harvest" are entirely foreign to him.]

...I am not sure what that is.

...that's right, I suppose you wouldn't.

Over the course of a year, the weather changes as the planet revolves around its star. In winter, most places are cold, and it is a period of storage, of difficulty. In spring, nature renews itself after the temporary death of winter - plants bloom, animals begin to have offspring, and so on.

Summer is the hottest season of the year, and during this time many farmers plant their crops so that they'll be able to grow during the fertile summer months, into autumn - when the world begins to cool and fade once more into winter. The harvest is during the middle of autumn, when the plants and crops are picked from the fields to be eaten and stored in preparation for winter. It's generally a rather busy time, so it's natural that there'd be a celebration when all was through.

Something like it, yes. It's called Hallow's End - though from what I've heard, it seems like a very similar celebration.
