To the Vash-cave!

The closet door swings open abruptly, just as Vash exits and slams it shut once more! In his arms, the fading Utena Tenjou.

He dashes away to his bed and sets her down!

"H-hey! Ms. Utena. What's wrong? Do you have a fever? Stress?"

Utena looks up, barely awake.

"I don't know."

She flashes brightly.

"...Alessa?"

"I haaaaave no idea who that is. Just hold still please."

Taking off the glove to his real arm, Vash presses the back of it against Utena's forehead. He'll check her vitals first, try to get an idea of what's wrong.

He smiles at her faintly. "You'll be okay, Ms. Utena. Just calm down a bit."

She smiles distantly.

"Claudia gave me a birthday card."

Vash retrieves some water, setting the glass onto a nearby table. He presses his earring a bit.

"Hm? Was it your birthday recently?"
