Ah, so you have arrived to Violet City. I guess that would be better for my sister.

Falkner is the gym leader for Violet City and uses bird pokemon. If you wish to get a badge from him, you would have to train hard to defeat him, Lady Beatrice.

That much I know. I met a man named Jack Skellington, who had just defeated Falkner when I ran into him.

The green spider I caught some time ago won't be of much help since it's an insect. Abbadon, however, might be able to stand up to his pokemon after some training...

I would recommend that you catch a Mareep or a Geodude in the area, Lady Beatrice. They may help you obtain the badge.
