Game 6

Versus Ron Howard

Here's games 6. The final score is smaller for obvious reasons. I would suggest you comment directly to cross-tables and perhaps subscribe by email if you want to look at responses to your comment. It just seems like an easier way to examine. Let's use the cool stuff Seth added, shall we?

I can't see how to comment on the page.

I'd play JO and exchange the following turn, probably. 34 + a slim chance you'll have a play next turn seems better than 0 + average turn w/ a small chance that a) 9C isn't blocked and b) you draw something to go there.

To comment on cross-tables, go to the bottom on the game and type your comment into the 'leave a comment' box. I don't think J(O) is the right play here. 34 points plus pretty much a guaranteed exchange next turn. AJ isn't just gunning for 9C--I also have 7C, and it's tough to block both of those spots. Since the score on the combined two turns is probably similar, and since sometimes I do get a huge play, I'd go for exchange earlier rather than later.

It's not just these two factors: the third factor is that sometimes your opponent will make a play that absolutely needs to be tended to, and you can't really tend to anything with a rack like AEIIIIT.

(To Chris) Why does it "seem better?" Be as specific as possible.
