Here's an exciting game from the SDO, thought I didn't play so well. Both players' racks are included.

Play the game!

In CSW after YUK I'd panic and do 15G QIS to block. When I saw YUK my eyes widened for a bit before I remembered that YUKE and YUKO are Collins-only.

Instead of YUK I'd probably do, I don't know. C12 RUKH? E9 TRUTH? It's late and I'm tired.

Jiminy, A3 MANTOES is a nice fit!

In the AORTAE position I would almost surely do OVA. It seems there are many overlaps that would go there if you played AORTAE. OVA probably sounds ridiculous and I'm probably wrong, but I would definitely play it, and it seems like the play that Quackle would prefer too (which is probably why I am gravitating to it so much, not knowing how to play like anything else). You have decent shot at a -IC bingo, you could draw the -ING, -AE, etc. The annoying thing here is the big S spots that you're less likely to get with a 2-tile draw, but you're also putting pressure on him to score and try to defend against a bingo himself. AORTAE also lets Noah do a 1-in-the-bag endgame.

I don't presume to think I'm right, it's just my preferred play =)

Of course with what his rack was OVA is not likely to win. You have to hope he kept some slightly clunky tiles after FRIZ or drew some. I don't know what his range is for FRIZ or how to figure it out.

I was thinking of plays like that. They seem to give a decent chance, at least more than most plays.
