It Starts with a Crack

Knowing that the girls would be out of the house, Joe had headed to it to do a little more snooping around in the rooms of the sorority girls that were still alive. He was curious to see if any of the rest of them were witches as well, because maybe an inter-house rivalry or inter-coven rivalry was what had taken out those two girls. Dana had gone ( Read more... )

Dana was fairly sick of watching all these bimbo's throw their tits around as they pulled at that rope. In skimpy outfits, of course. The guys were enjoying it though, whistling and cat-calling and all around instigating for a mud wrestling match, she was sure.

Though the frat boys did seem more interested in her than the girls sometimes, surrounding her and asking her questions. Of course since the girls knew her as FBI now, she had to stick with that cover and they all seem rather impressed with 'undercover hottie' (as she heard them whispering about with amusement).

Joe took fairly forever to show up, not even seeming to mind all that much that a bunch of guys were hitting on her. No glare or anything. Blinking in surprise, she shooed the guys off and strolled over to him as he stepped out of the Impala. "So? Find anything other than lace and thongs?"

It was almost like something was missing but he couldn't think of what. He saw her with all those guys and part of him knew that he should feel something, but he couldn't quite rise what emotion was supposed to be there. Though as he moved out of the Impala, the smooth silver of the necklace under his shirt made him shiver faintly, distracting him. He remembered faint words about not letting anyone see the necklace, that it was their little secret. Theirs. Not Dana's.

He offered a smile though as he shook his and headed over, meeting her half way. "Nah. Just what you'd expect to find in any sorority house." No. That wasn't right either, was it? Hadn't he... He shook his head a little and blinked, fingers sliding to rub at his temple. "Didn't find anything, just a slight headache." His eyes looked up and over to the milling students. "Anything interesting on this front?"

Dana gave him a curious look, but she smoothed it away. Couldn't expect him to always be angry about men she supposed. He should know better by now anyways that she only wanted him.

Smiling back, she stopped in font of him, glancing back behind her with a sigh, noticing most of the girls were now focused this way with Joe's arrival. "Interesting as in me sitting and watching a bunch of slutty girls throw their ass and tits around? No. Not at all." Glancing back at him, she gave him an apologetic look for the comment about the headache, reaching up to rub soothingly at his temple. "I'm sorry about your head though baby. Why don't we head back to the room and try to fix that, hm?"

Especially after he'd made a comment the other night about her getting to even the scales by soaking up some of the frat boy attention and all. It could, possibly be accounted to him growing a bit.

"Looks like dead ends all around for us today." His eyes slide back with hers, though there's the same disinterest there was yesterday. Crystal isn't with them, that much he knows. And now he's trying to remember why he cares whether she's with them or not. But then she's distracting him with that soothing touch and his eyes close a little. He feels fuzzy, like he's walking through a fog and he's not sure why but her touch helps to not so much push it away but stop the hurt. Dull it to a more manageable level. "I think that sounds good, though you won't kill me if I'm not up to more than just curling up with you, will you?" He knew he wanted her close, curled up and tight against him, but it warred with the fact that if he lost the shirt, she'd see the necklace and he felt compelled to not let her see it.
