Things seemed to be going fairly well, as far as Joe could tell at least. They'd grown closer on a friend level, but he'd also been able to coax her thighs apart every few nights to bring her pleasure before they settled in to sleep. And never once did he ask for pleasure in return, he just took care of it in the morning bath later so as not to ( Read more... )

It was late nights, Dana drowsy or warmed from a recent bath, when Joe would settle in beside her with drawled and seductive words in her ear, and before she knew it she'd be moaning and writhing under his expert touch. She could no longer help herself though. The pleasure he brought to her body, with his hands and sometimes mouth... It left her dizzy most nights.

But she was still adamantly against laying with him again. Of having...his sex between her legs again.

Looking up as Joe entered the room, her smile came easy, no longer bitter towards him as she once was. But with his suggestion, her brows furrowed with a hint of concern. "...picnic by the river?" After what happened last time?

He was glad that she didn't want to help herself anymore though, he'd grown found of her taste, of her sounds. He didn't want her to stop him, and he didn't want her to think they should stop. So long as she was happy right now, he could deal with not having any help with his pleasure.

And he wouldn't push that. He knew that he'd done so much damage their first night. He was currently feeling lucky she was letting him touch her.

He offers a soft smile at the concern. He remembers well what happened last time, was still trying to strengthen his arm back up since the wolf. "It's a different spot. Some trees for shade but less forest so there shouldn't be any wolves. And we'll be back long before they come out of their dens, I promise."

They weren't exactly a happy couple yet, but Dana was happy with where they were. They were close now, friends. And she had no intention of ruining the dynamic they had set for them now. Especially not with sex. That would ruin them completely again, she was sure.

The hint of concern eases, but still lingers in her gaze after his reassurance. His wounds had healed for the most part, but left nasty scars. And his muscles were weak and could ache on any given day. Dana still insisted he stay away from anything too strenuous.

"Well. Then that sounds lovely my Lord. I'd love to accompany you."

They were on their way to getting to be a happier couple. And he did enjoy that they were friends. Though while he hadn't shared it, he felt that it was a great lead in to them being more. That it made a good foundation for their marriage and their relationship to sprout wings and go in a more romantic direction as well.

He moves over to her, smiling a little more broadly. He doesn't want her to be worried about this, especially when he's completely sure that they'll be alright today. And as per her instructions, he's been staying away from strenuous activities. If only to not have her worry.

He offers his arm to her, "I am glad you feel that way, my Lady." His head tilts a little, "Share a horse or separate horses?"
