Looking up as Joe entered the room, her smile came easy, no longer bitter towards him as she once was. But with his suggestion, her brows furrowed with a hint of concern. "...picnic by the river?" After what happened last time?

And he wouldn't push that. He knew that he'd done so much damage their first night. He was currently feeling lucky she was letting him touch her.
He offers a soft smile at the concern. He remembers well what happened last time, was still trying to strengthen his arm back up since the wolf. "It's a different spot. Some trees for shade but less forest so there shouldn't be any wolves. And we'll be back long before they come out of their dens, I promise."

The hint of concern eases, but still lingers in her gaze after his reassurance. His wounds had healed for the most part, but left nasty scars. And his muscles were weak and could ache on any given day. Dana still insisted he stay away from anything too strenuous.

He moves over to her, smiling a little more broadly. He doesn't want her to be worried about this, especially when he's completely sure that they'll be alright today. And as per her instructions, he's been staying away from strenuous activities. If only to not have her worry.
He offers his arm to her, "I am glad you feel that way, my Lady." His head tilts a little, "Share a horse or separate horses?"
