Peter was still in his room at the Petrelli house in the city. He was trying to narrow down his real estate search when his phone rang. His door was closed, so he didn't have any privacy worries when he saw the caller ID.

"Hey Claire," Peter said. "How's it going?"

Hearing Peter's voice made her smile despite her concerns. "I made the cheerleading squad."

"That's great!" Peter said. "Are you doing anything for Homecoming? I'd love to see it."

"I have no idea. We have our first practice tomorrow," Claire said.

The thought of seeing Peter at Homecoming equally made her happy and scared though.

"How are you? What have you been doing?" she asked, trying to figure out how to ease into the subject.
