Claire was trying not to be nervous while she waited for Jon to show up. They were just talking. Nothing to be concerned about.

She had a few movies out since Jon had mentioned watching one. There was microwave popcorn and lemonade.

Now she just needed the boy.

There wasn't a lot for him to do today, besides obsess mildly over this talk, so he'd taken off to do some fishing thinking. He even managed to be back to the dorm in time to not be late.

See, knocking on the door at exactly the right time.

Claire opened the door and smiled.

"Hey, right on time," she said, stepping aside to let him in. She was definitely shutting the door and locking it behind him in an effort to keep out squirrels.

If she wanted to keep them out, she needed to cover the windows and set up soundproofing while she was at it.

"Oh, hey, good movie choices." Not that they'd really be watching them. "Is that real lemonade or the doctored stuff?"

"I'm from Texas, honey. That's real lemonade," she said.
