So HEY what makes a person a vessel? Is it nature or nurture? In the blood or, as that certain character from the last episode maybe implied, forged by destiny and/or the choices a person makes?

What would happen if Lucifer possessed Dean and Michael possessed Sam? WHAT THEN?

Dean would feel guilty for aaaall ofeternity, and Sam would probably not look as hot as Michael as he did as Lucifer.

BUT THEN AGAIN, Lucifer!Sam had fairly terrible dress sense. Surely Michael could only be an improvement over dazzling white suits?

Although I'm not sure Lucifer!Dean would look any less daft in all white, come to that...

Castiel said that simply just people are able to perceive angels' visage/true voice or Lucifer kind of suggested that some bodies are just made for it ("Nick can barely contain me without spontaneously combusting."), so I think it's more a psychological thing rather than sociological. Since Lucifer was able to still posses Nick, even though he wasn't his "true vessel." I'm pretty certain that we will see Micheal in another body before the end of the season, because Dean has made it clear that he will be adamant and always say, "No."
