Not that I don't respect Kiriyan and everything but her retirement announcement didn't really affect me like this. Ugh. Expletives, this sucks, etc.

I can't help being rather concerned about who's going to follow them. (Also, I really thought Yuuhi and Sumika would retire before Kiriyan and Marimo)

;_; I had hoped she would stay, but I am not surprised. She and Kiriyan are and were so golden together, I couldn't really imagine her stay and form a top combi with someone else.

I'm sad to see her leave. :-( She and Kiriyan are my favourite combi of the current crop.

But with all the meta of the last couple of years I've come to realize that I prefer top star runs to be around 3 years since that keeps the flow of new stars consistent. I.e. avoids to many people getting stuck in the wrong time slot. That doesn't mean that I wont be grumpy about people retiring but at least the ones retiring will have had some time in the limelight.
