*lol* thank you, dear! but if you haven't read anne rice's vampire chronicles, i really suggest it. i've leaned pretty heavily on her here. read the first four or five books, anyway. the rest are a bit shit. ;)

How you managed to keep them in character and still put them through this is more than I can understand. This sort of vampire story is right up there with Dracula and The Historian, both of which scared the shit out of me.

This is a vampire story, pure and simple. Those goofy Bella/Edward books have got people thinking, "Gee, aren't they beautiful and quite sweet? Look how she can visit a family of vampires and they don't even bite her."

Well, there's no such thing as a sweet vampire. Even Bertie does not make a sweet vampire. He might not be able to kill, but he sure doesn't mind taking what he needs from Jeeves.

Personally, I'd like to see a flying, naked Jeeves.

exactly! vampires aren't human. they aren't nice and friendly. they're monsters. there's a reason that people are afraid of them. and part of me wonders how long bertie really would keep his innocence. how long before the thirst overcomes his code?

and, you know, i wouldn't mind seeing a naked flying jeeves, either. ;D
