"I hear the door, so that would be a yes," Blaine responded for his twin. Sharing a womb carried certain rights. "Must be the Hummels, I'll get it."

He made his way to the front door as the bell rang again, chiming through the foyer loudly. "Come in, come in, God it's freezing out! Next party we should fly to Hawaii."

Kurt had dressed for the occasion, of course, not seeing why he should waste an opportunity to dress up just because they weren't going to the dance. He was well aware that he didn't need to look particularly smart, but as he had once told Mercedes, every moment of his life was an opportunity for fashion. Also, he'd bought the the entire outfit a size smaller than he normally would, as an incentive to lose weight. He was proud that it now fit him perfectly.

Beaming as Blaine opened the door to himself and Kira, he quickly pressed the flowers he had brought with him into his boyfriend's arms. He knew they were meant to be bringing candy, but from the sounds of things Blaine already had that covered.

"I didn't see why I couldn't bring you flowers, just because we're not going to the dance," he explained as he was led in out of the cold.

He smiled, coming out to greet the Hummel's. "Hey guys. Glad to see you again." He grinned, taking a sip of his coffee. These were the people that really mattered. Just seeing the love between them all, knowing that these people were like family, it made his heart swell.

"Why didn't I think of that? Now I'm going to go have to buy Sierra flowers." He laughed lightly. "I just brought her chocolates."

The decision to skip the dance had come as a relief to Sierra. Though she thought the whole thing rather stupid (because really, girls, there was nothing stopping you from asking the boys to any other dance), she had been prepared to go if Blaine had wanted to. She hadn't gone to the last one. It had been the first year she had really been on medication and she had been in a MOOD. So despite her brother's urgings, she had stayed home ( ... )
