I just find myself in need of icons to represent "negative" feelings.
I want something that conveys sadness, but not of the emokid/suicidal/melodramatic variety.
And the androgynous boy aspect gives it a personal 'me'-touch.
But, go nuts with it, I'm not terribly picky. I intentionally left it vague, with as few specifications as possible for it to be as true a means of artistic expression as possible. :)
