Not that I'm throwing flowers at missen again and not that Amazon ratings mean owt anyway and not that I'm checking them every two minutes, but my book came out in the US yesterday and it's in the top 1000. That probably means it's sold half a dozen copies. I don't care. Yahoo.

This year, travel to the delightful environs of Bangkok's wastewater treatment plant. It's easy to reach: take a metro to the end of the line, drive down several streets full of rag-pickers and garbage-sifters, pass the yard of mobile toilet trucks and head for the smell. Unmissable.
