... is there another tribulation affecting the residents?

Perhaps it would be prudent to speak directly with you all again.

If you're talking about the underwear thief, I had nothing to do with it.

I'm not perverted like the other Greed.

That was only one of the current activities to which I was referring. The residents' behaviour is not within their normal parameters.

...normal para--

Are you talking about the truth or dare game? It's just something to entertain all of us. "Improve morale", I guess would be a better description?

Yes. I have been informed that is the designation for it.

Improve morale? I have observed most of the residents looking distinctly uncomfortable during these actions.

Most of it's from a game! Want to play?

I am not familiar with any game which requires its participants to behave as such.

It's called "Truth or Dare". If the other person chooses 'truth' you get to ask them a question and they have to answer it. If they say 'dare', you can make them do something silly. So you're seeing a lot of people do a lot of silly things.

And people abide this because...?

You're the bastard who informed me of my kidnapping and enslavement.

Tribulations? You mean besides being forced to fight your own war? What makes you so Chaos-damned important to justify using the rest of the multiverse as your personal army?

Correct.

Because we posses the ability to.

gm_kragok June 19 2008, 19:56:37 UTC
So does the Legion, yet we still have enough pride to fight our own battles.

And 'possess' is spelled with four 's'es.

It is not a matter of ego.

I will notate that.

So I have been informed.

How did this come to be considered entertainment?

Interesting. Tradition?

Well, if you will allow people to run wild with so little to occupy them, it's hardly fair to blame them for being so desperate for entertainment as to stoop to this.

warden_kun June 19 2008, 20:04:47 UTC
Others assure me this is of entertainment value and not intentionally demeaning. Are you disagreeing with this assessment?

Reply

femme_fowl June 19 2008, 20:07:50 UTC
It's both at once, actually. The entertainment comes from the people being demeaned.

I never understood the appeal, myself.

... Perplexing.
