Yesterday was the forth of july and what a great day it was.

I hung out with Matt, Tammy, and ecricket4 today and I have to say I had a great day. We all went over to matt's parents house and enjoyed some BBQ and some lets pick on stadler time. the awkwardness wasn't with ME, was it? ;-) i think it was a good idea for us all to go and thanks for coming even if we had to badger you into it. also thanks for not killing us with a spoon for all the verbal (and occasional physical!) abuse.

i would have give angels in america a c- but maybe that's because i didn't see the first part.

you know, they do have a spell check option when you post your update...

I would definitely go with you guys, but I'm still 19. (I couldn't get into a concert tonight either. Time to get a fake ID.) But we should still hang out another time.

(snickers) you and your pseudo-vagueness.

I think you should ASK Kevin why he's so convinced about Abortion...and probably some of the women I know too. You might be surprised what they have to say about the life inside their bodies, and WHEN they knew the child was a child and not an abnormal growth...and how they reconcile themselves to their decisions now.

Also, an interesting bit of medical trivial. The term "abortion" is actually incorrect when applied to the process of medically terminating a pregnancy. "Abortion" applies specifically to the body aborting an abnormal or terminal pregnancy, and thus by applying the term to the medical procedure it is inherently more acceptable (or at least it was before the perversion of the term) than the medical terminology of "termination". Besides, "termination" implies a recognition of life, and that just causes a sticky mess, eh?

I absolutely agree with your motivation for discussion, if we do not question, we never learn. I also think you're wise to avoid making explicit judgements regarding pro-life or pro-abortion stances, simply because women have a tendancy to knee-jerk and demand, "What right do you (read: men) have to say anything about my (read: a woman's) body ( ... )
