Today had all the makings of a great day: I was going to meet with Dan to discuss some "items" that we touched on at our last meeting, which I had thought might include a promotion to prevent me from going over to Long Range, and other was us waiting to hear back on our offer for the 537 NE Joanne house. Both seemed to fall through

Have you looked at Zillow and Redfin to see the price charts for the area and comparable home prices? I'm assuming you have, but I thought I'd check. If you want, I can ask my mother if she thinks it's a reasonable price for the house based on its status and the current market. She works in new construction and housing, so she's a pretty fair judge.

I am all over those websites. I can't speak to what the market is like in other areas, but I do know - now, that it's very much a seller's market around here and a prospective buyer is the one that needs to be fast and be willing to make concessions.
