I tell people that all the time when they ask if I'm excited about the stimulus bill. They usually look at me as if I were speaking another language.

That Self Reliance language. Yeah, it is hard to understand when everything has been handed to you on a golden platter.

What you fail to understand is that you are a person of means and Obama is here to take from you those means and give to those who don't have means.

Hope! Change!

Obama. Obama. Obama. Obama.

I like the icon. It took me a minute to figure it out, make the connection to the zombie movie. Hope for someone to take care of me. Change of money from hard working class, to those who think hope is all you need. A day of reconciliation will eventually come. It is actually here, but we are throwing more money at it to put it off till tomorrow.

You wanna talk about change? Wait until the working class go to the polls in 2010 and again in 2012. Hell, at the rate we're going, there might be a lynching party at the White House before then.

I lifted the avatar from reality_hammer who nabbed it from someone else.

I'm proud to say that the Idaho Governor is hesitating to take stimulus money. He is nervous that once the spending runs out he will be left with future ongoing tabs the state won't be able to afford. Thank you King Obama. Now we will have to rely on more socialism in the future.

I agree with you 100%. I am very concerned for our economy and way of life over the next several years. and by "our" I mean, the people like myself who work everyday to bring home a paycheck so that we can pay our bills, put groceries on the table and send our children to school.

I am very very nervous about the future...

Thanks for your comment. Sometimes, I wonder if there are other people outside of my close circle of friends here in Idaho as worried as I am. It is good to know some Texans feel the same as I. I seriously think education is part of the problem. Obama is a elegant speaker, and he makes things sound good. Many don't think beyond his words though and see all the possible consequences. Still, I continue the fight. I try not to complain, but I am frustrated!

You are not alone! I read a craft message board. About September these little old ladies (mostly southern) started a section called Politico. You would not believe how vehement some of them are. They hate Obama, wish death up on him daily, it is shocking to learn that little ole southern grandmothers can be so passionate with their hatred ( ... )

I agree. I feel like the mess I'm in/ever get in is my mess and I should handle it. Totally agreed on this philosophy.
