Long-time, no post!

To be honest I haven't really had a lot to say that could warrant a blog-post. Pretty much most of my online waffle can be found on Facebook and Twitter nowadays.

Things are getting interesting though so I thought I'd dust off the old LJ in readiness.

We can only wonder. ^_^ (I used to be on Twitter, but gave it up, for a variety of reasons, and happily have much of FB null-routed in /etc/hosts)

Came here, FWIW, as huskyteer mentioned you as having been along to RIAT. I couldn't make it this year, but had a fantastic time at 2015's, in particular to catch one of the Vulcan's final flights. Naturally, they wound up rescheduling, so it flew on the weekend, and we went on Friday. =:P (No matter - caught it down at Eastbourne a few weeks later) I brought along a lovely rented lens for the occasion, a Nikkor 200-400mm f/4, plus a TC14E at times. Suffice to say, I wound up with just shy of 2000 photos from the day, and a very grumpy shoulder the next day. ^_^;

It was great seeing the Vulcan do its thing and I was very sad when it was grounded. There are few aircraft more highly-rated by me...
