I went out for lunch last weekend with Mumward, James Ward and James Ward's girlfriend Alexa. Mumward had phoned me and said she thought it might be a nice idea if the four of us went out and Mumward and I split the bill. Immediately I saw a glaring flaw in this plan, but because I didn't want to appear mean I agreed. Then as soon as I'd ( Read more... )

I didn't know she'd died of an asthma attack. I bet that tall Texan she'd pulled was gutted.

He was 78 when Return of the Jedi came out. I hope I look like that when I'm 78. I stand a fair chance because I look a bit like that now.

What I like about when you can't remember something is that then days later the thing you were trying to think of can just pop into your head, and it's as though there was a little brain cell just concentrating on that even though the rest of your brain was doing other things.

What I like best about when you can't remember something is that massive quantity of frustration you experience trying to remember it compared to the really quite tiny amount of relief you get when finally you do remember it. You'd think they'd be about equal, but they're nowhere near.

Of course in my case it's the little brain cell taking care of all other things while the rest of my brain concentrates on remembering whatever it is I've forgotten.

Oh yes it is so frustrating isn't it? When it happens I feel like I can't talk or think about anything else until I've remembered the word or whatever it is.
But then there comes a point where you accept that you are not going to remember it, and you deal with the trauma of that and get on with your life.

I have fond memories of How Do You Want Me? as that was when I first fancied Peter Serafinowicz AND Dylan Moran.

Fi believes that I fancy Dylan Moran. And Michael Sheen. I don't though, the only men I fancy are Mark Owen and Patrik Berger. Oh, and Ola Salo out of The Ark. And probably some others. Anyway the point is I'm not a Gay, stop thinking that.
