LOL...yeah, that's what i said. when i saw the measurements on the screen, it was totally a cartoon moment. like one of my eyes bugged out and there should have been a weird eye-bugging-out sound effect in the background.

That is giant.

Hey! At least you have one good one, eh?
Better than none.

I hope your blood work turns out all right.
Just remember to breathe.

it's totally giant. i have absolutely no fucking clue how it fits. you can't even tell that it's that big by looking down there. bleh.

i know you're in a completely different field of study, but do you know anything about what happens if a reproductive organ gets removed?

Actually, I am not too far from knowing about such things.
I need to take a few sexual health classes, so I know a few things.

As for the ovary removal, the ovary would create a decrease in estrogen because each ovary issues estrogen. You will still get your period, but it will only come from the other ovary. If you had to get your uterus removed, you would not be able to have children, but removing an ovary will not prevent you from having kids if you want one.
The only thing I can think of is that your hormone levels will change a bit.
Your gyn would know some more specifics than I would.
I hope this helped.

that was very helpful, thank you. :)

but...do you think the decrease in estrogen from the one ovary would cause a significant decrease in my sex drive? see, i'm barely getting any right now because of the pain, so i want to be on it after i'm all healed up. LOL! ;)
