I know how you feel, I've had mamagrams since I was a very young 18, and when I was 19 they thought I had a brain anuerysm. I was 20 minutes away from brain surgery. They were shooting dye into my brain to see where it was so they could operate, then they said something to the effect of, "Oh, your arteries in your brain must be twisted around each other, you don't have an anuerysm." My mom thought the power of prayer cured me. I have to add anuerysms are in my family history, but I was so scared I'd die in my sleep I just didn't sleep, until I realised that lack of sleep may kill me, too. Last time I went to the doctor I started to cry and nearly had a panic attack.

Sorry if that's TMI, but I just want to say that I feel for you and doctors can scare you shitless for no reason at all.

*hugs* that must have been pretty damn intense. i don't know much about anuerysms...is there any way that you can prevent one from happening even if you're genetically predisposed to it?

Good question, but I'm not sure. I never went back to that doctor, (even signed a waiver) and I guess I went into complete denial and pushed it out of my mind.

Hi honey. 22 year old relatively healthy year old girl here who just had a mole and tumor removed from her right breast yesterday. *sigh*

it's fucking irritating isn't it? And scary, to be so young and dealing with something so big.

We don't talk much or know each other very well but I can totally relate to large health issues (I seem to get them every few years like clockwork.. broken bones, tendons needing repair, bla bla) so Im always here to talk.
