ohio is so strange. yesterday, there was a blizzard of january proportions, and when i woke up (merely 20 minutes ago, due to the time change and my horrid insomnia), the snow was nearly gone. not that i'm complaining about the lack of snow, you guys know i'd never complain about that...but come on ohio. fucking pick one

the weather is odd here too. it's been sunny, but cool for the past couple of days, but tomorrow it's supposed to be 60 something, and then 71 on tuesday. wtf?!
life's boring here too. i've spent all day today at the computer filling out applications and trying to find teaching jobs. fuck...just shoot me. i love that noone warned me 5 years ago that this was not a field to go into if i actually wanted to GET a job when i graduated. only recently have people pointed out that elementary teaching is probably not a really great field right now. greattt :(
so yea...that's life here.

that sucks about finding a job. have you considered getting something crap for the short term while still filling out teaching applications? or perhaps moving for a job? i know you've got som shit to stay for, but it's definitely something to consider, if you haven't already.
i'm not sure when i was planning on coming. if i don't have my liscense by then (which i am going to get on ASAP, car is almost done), then i'm going to either a) find someone who is willing to drive or b) take a greyhound. either way, it's cool and i'll definitely be there for the party. maybe the 13th so i can get settled in for the weekend and get some sleep before the party? i don't know. how many spots do you have for your actual graduation?
just in case, i'm going to go check on bus fares and just save it until then.

hey, what is the name of your town? i used to have your address, but it's been lost in the abyss. i calculated the fares from here to chicago, and that was like $98, but maybe it'll be cheaper to a place closer to where you are.

I've never been inside Hollister. The store scares me. A girl I go to school with worked there for a bit, and they yelled at her for folding clothes wrong.
