I've been meaning to cosplay ol' Law-Law for a while now, but I've been sticking him on the backburner a little too much. However! Arda Wigs recently put some of their lace-front wigs on clearance, so I got a wig that I intend to use for him. I rather like the first one. It's the right color and it suits him. Though if you find one with birds it would be even more appropriate. Well really it's the color that I like best rather than the design.

And the purple, oh heavens, either way. I could really see that as being something he'd do to stand out at social events, with his movie outfit being more toned down when he's "at home" so as to not outshine his collection.

What are you going to do for his jewelry? The "ji" pendant or brooch or whatever it is, the earring (mind where in his ear it goes!), and the rings?

Yeah, the colour of that blue is just perfection from what the photos indicate (sometimes fabric doesn't photograph perfectly, though, so it might not be quite the same in real life). Though if I can get a swatch of white with white birds and dye it, I'd like to try that. Birds kind of go with both of the characters I'd use the light blue for (Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi, so birds would have a Suzaku connotation). But this blue is definitely very likely the blue I'll use. I'll probably only go the "attempt to dye something else" route if I can get a swatch/small amount to test with and if it turns out pretty close. I don't want to have to order 5 yards of something only for it to turn out to not work. (... Then again, there is another Nuriko outfit I'd want to do that uses white and can be justified as brocade ( ... )

Oh lord he WOULD have the One Ring. Or some sort of cursed ring. Like remember that cursed mask and scepter Jessie ended up with in Johto? Like that.

I didn't know AR had a roommate. I thought you were distance friends. Huh.

Is there any way you can see this fabric in person before committing to it? It seems like that would really be the best course of action.
