I realized that I totally forgot to extend a formal greeting to all of the Band of Brothers fans that just added me/I added.  Which is entirely typical of me, I'm really bad at being friendly like a normal human being.  SO HELLO TO legethien,exsequar, binnin, royale90skid , benvolio_daemon ,hjbender ,poutmeter ,konimi and whoever else I entirely forgot because I fail.  D;

There's no such thing as me having a favorite Webgott fic. D: What I've been able to read is all so enjoyable and gahhhh OTP is OTP. Save for Roe and Babe. But um. The titles that I can remember are Take Me Out and um. ...that'stheonlytitleIcanremember. But other authors whose names I managed to remember are andrealyn (who probably wrote Take Me Out) and jumpstix (who wrote this really cute and unfinished piece about them working in Barnes n Noble during a HP book-release party and hi I'm a dork who likes AU's like no tomorrow.)

<3 I enjoy pretty much all Webgott, too. Except if something just is really, really off on the characters, I'll stop reading. D; OH I READ TAKE ME OUT. And I basically love all of adrealyn's stuff, I almost mentioned her but I didn't. Oh, and I also think I remember reading that bookstore fic, I'd actually been looking for it. Thanks!

Yeah--it takes a lot to make me stop reading a fic, and it's really yet to happen in the BoB fandom. Gaahhh I've been in love with this series since 2005 but I didn't actually join in fandom till lol a month ago. D: I've missed so much. DX

Thank you much for the fic rec! I don't think I've read that one, being so new to the fandom.

I'll share two favorites with you! One is Alone Together, an exquisite story about the friendship of Liebgott and Tipper. It goes from Toccoa through after the war, and is jsut a really moving and powerful portrait of what war can do to a man, and how friendship can carry him through. Not slashy, but exquisite nonetheless. I can't recommend it enough.

My favorite OMG SO IN LOVE story is A Different War, which is Nix/Winters in Austria and is so beautiful I could just die.

-- Fallschirmjäger and If you give Web a smoke: I love their interactions in these and just kind of wish people would write more that doesn't involve verbal abuse but hey, that's Webgott apparently...

-- Strange Allies, Warring hearts: I like the style and I love the characterizations except...for well, the only thing that gets me is Joe is...a helluva a lot meaner than I can ever really picture him. It's a terrific read though...unfortunately not finished :<<

-- Routine: Web as an officer AU. Unf. That man had so much potential--also we see the bromance of Nix/Web through their rivalry of Yale vs. Harvard and it just adds to it all.

-- The Whispers: Sweet, cute, and just d'aww...also NSFW slightly.
