Who the fuck wrote that shit?! No character development, no dialog, no storyline and plot holes you could fly a dragon through! It felt so rushed, as though we were being dragged through years' worth of storyline in a few days, and, in fact we were. It wasn't *quite* as bad as "Dungeons and Dragons" but it really did suck. The movie's one redeeming

The book was written by a fifteen-year old. I've not read it, but apparently it shows.

The book is not the problem, as the only thing it has in commonc with the movie is the names. The book was actually pretty good, as far as young adult fiction goes. It's the kind of book you'd read in late elementary school or higher. I actually rather enjoyed the book, which I read as an adult (I do that).

The movie was just crap, whoever made it should hang their head in shame.

Erm, no. Star Wars had plot, story, character development, timing, characters you knew and liked AND awesome special effects. This movie had none of those elements, save the awesome special effects.
