I need:
Sari(s) in muted browns
veil to match same
armbands, collar and ankle bands to cover edges of bodysuit (I'm thinking kutchi cuffs)
middle eastern shoes
contact lenses
hair extensions in muted browns

She's a very sedate and subdued character, not the least bit interested in attracting attention. If you have any of these elements, I would love to barter or purchase them from you. Ebay shipping charges tend to make a lot of this stuff too expensive right out of the gate.

You need a sari? I keep telling you, I live in a town FULL of Indians! Coem shop at the Shiva Bazaar down the street. I know, Saris aren't necessarily Indian, but you can get a whole bunch of wrap-type things at the Indian shops, and we can go to the Islamic Cedar Market in the center of town because I've always wanted to go, but just never got around to it.

If you can't get everything you want, just go naked.

No, I just live in Norwood. The Little Middle East of America. It's kind of cool, actually. If you like Middle Eastern/Indian food, it's not a bad town to live in. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of either. It sucks to be me. :)

Hey, I wanted to ask you a question but I wasn't sure of your e-mail. Okay, advice needed: Do you think I should splurge to get something at King Dick's or would they have stuff like that at a better price at Arisia?

That depends entirely on what you want. I haven't been to King DIck's since they started charging $20.00 to get in and it's now up to $24.00. The New York Renaissance Faire http://recfair.com/NY/ is a thousand times better and less expensive. They have far better stuff there, especially considering that a lot of the vendors King Dick's screwed wound up there.

Tell me what you're looking for and I'll tell you if you should wait until Arisia.

i was thinking either a peasant shirt or a waist cincher. if i could pull it and the price was low enough, i'd love a ren style bodice. but i think that'd be over my limit.

when is the NY ren faire?
