the class itself wasn't a problem, i've always done well in writing classes. i just blew off independent study that summer - i'm 1 out of 5 people i know that have had to go back and take comp after "graduating".

Ugh. It's good to know what's going on. I'm sorry it's such a shitty thing, but if anyone can make it through strife it's you. Because you ROCK. Just wanted you to remember that. I'm sending positive pain-free thoughts. :)

hi amy!
thanks for the birthday wishes-i'm sorry to hear about your tn diagnosis. i am thankful that you are in the best medical hands to help you with managing it. you are a tough chick and will kick its arse into submission.
congrats on your diploma. did you know that we have been wrangling umd now for the past couple of years? back in 1998, brad went through commencement and everything and thought he was all done (and we have the student loans to prove it!) and then got a letter saying something about not graduating due to a missing paper from theatre history. upon further investigation, it was determined that the paper was misplaced by the administration and it's been a really huge pain in the ass. Brad was asked if he still has the paper (yeah, 10+ years later) and it's gotten really ridiculous. They won't bend and they are being assholes about it. Your triumph is very encouraging, and we will keep up the battle for the diploma.
