Swedes are another name for rutabagas, IIRC? They're in the vat of "root vegetables you chop, parboil, then roast/stew/gratin/whatever". I'm fairly sure I've cooked them and they were unmemorable amongst the other root veggies.

As for emoticons? Going to go with the old-school ;) as I've never quite gotten the hang of these non-sideways newfangled ones.
